Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Facilities to oversee the operational and maintenance needs of Shaker Pointe at Carondelet. As the Director of Facilities, you will manage daily facility operations, ensure the safety and functionality of all buildings, and lead a team to perform proactive maintenance, repairs, and inspections. You will also coordinate vendor services, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Watervliet, NY, requiring hands-on leadership and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in facilities maintenance and management, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping
- Experience in staff supervision, team leadership, and collaboration
- Knowledge of safety standards, compliance regulations, and vendor management
- Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with facility management software or related technologies
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in facilities management, engineering, or related fields are preferred
- Experience in senior living facilities or similar environments is a plus
