Front Counter Associate

The All New ShakeMan is Coming to Verona! We are seekinga Full-time and Part-time Front Counter Customer Service Associate to provide our customers with exceptional service. We are seeking friendly, personable, and customer service-oriented associates.

This entry-level position earns a competitive wage of $15 per hour (more with experience). Our employees work in a fun environment and receive discounts at Shakeman, Mad Taco and Avenue Bistro. ABOUT SHAKEMAN:

ShakeMan is located in downtown Verona, NJ just outside of the beautiful Essex County, Verona Park. We offer customers our signature shakes, slushies, cones and ice cream. Our shakes are made with 100% ice cream; no additional milk added like those other guys. Rich, creamy and smooth with 30 plus flavors to choose from.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Continuously providing an exceptional experience for each of our customers.
• Preparing shakes, slushies, cones and ice cream while creating a friendly, energetic atmosphere for customers.
• Handle all transactions, including cash sales, with customers and maintain familiarity with all products sold out of the storefront location.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding all aspects of the company including branding/social media, events/catering, and deliveries.
• Keep storefront clean and orderly to DOH standards at all times.
• Using time between customers to manage inventory levels, to ensure we are always prepared.
• Proactively communicating inventory needs with management.
• Adhere to all company processes, policies, and procedures.
• Follow all Food & Safety processes, policies, and procedures.
• Adhere to availability and scheduling needs of the business.
• Ability to work on your feet for 6 to 8 hours and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays.
