Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with an engaging first impression of our establishment.
• Manage the seating chart efficiently to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to coordinate guest needs and special requests.
• Answer phone calls promptly, utilizing proper phone etiquette to assist with reservations or inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, ensuring it is inviting for guests.
• Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or feedback in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for every guest.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar restaurant management systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest services and relations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members alike.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
