Job Title: Server / Barista - Shahrazad Hookah and Tea (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Location: 3823 Hillsborough St, Raleigh, NC 27607

Pay: $7.25/hr plus tips. Tips typically bring total pay to $14 to $25 per hour depending on the day.

Shift: 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM

About Us

Shahrazad Hookah and Tea is a Raleigh staple known for its Arabian-inspired atmosphere, hand-crafted coffee and tea, hookah, and a guest experience that blends cultures from across the Middle East, South Asia, and beyond. We are looking for a couple of servers and baristas to join our late-night team.

What You'll Do

• Take orders and serve coffee, tea, hookah, and light food items to guests
• Prepare drinks and maintain a clean, organized bar and floor
• Work closely with the team to keep service moving during our busiest hours
• Deliver a warm, welcoming experience to a diverse group of regulars and first-time guests

What We're Looking For

• Must be 21 or older
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Comfort working late night hours (7 PM to 3 AM)
• Genuine appreciation for working in a shop with a rich, immersive blend of cultures

A Big Plus

We serve a wide range of guests, so bilingual or multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. We would especially love to hear from candidates who speak:

This is a hookah lounge and smoke shop. Guests smoke tobacco and shisha products on the premises throughout the shift. If you are sensitive to smoke or tobacco, we recommend you do not apply for this position.
