Full-Time Office & Facility Cleaner
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8AM-430PM
Job Description
Shag Carpet is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Office & Facility Cleaner to help maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment throughout our office and warehouse facilities. This position is responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of office spaces, restrooms, kitchens, breakrooms, conference rooms, and common areas.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, works well independently, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize office spaces, restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens, conference rooms, and common areas daily
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust throughout the facility
- Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures, mirrors, counters, partitions, and floors
- Restock restroom and kitchen supplies, including paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other consumables
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the building
- Clean windows, glass doors, and other interior glass surfaces
- Wipe down desks, tables, countertops, cabinets, appliances, and other high-touch surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of employee breakrooms and kitchen areas
- Report maintenance concerns or supply shortages to management
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned checklists
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company procedures
- Assist with occasional special cleaning projects as needed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and guests
Qualifications
- Previous commercial or office cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, standing, walking, and kneeling throughout the shift
- Comfortable working around office staff during business hours
- Basic English communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

- Indoor office and warehouse environment

- Regular use of cleaning equipment and cleaning products
- Fast-paced environment requiring consistency and attention to detail
