Housekeeper Team Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our staff as a Team Lead. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service in the hospitality industry. Must be reliable and have reliable transportation!

RATE OF PAY WILL BE DETERMINED BASED ON EXPERIENCE, RELIABILITY AND REFERENCES

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies as needed in guest rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies while performing cleaning duties.
• Assist with laundry services as required, ensuring all items are cleaned and returned efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests with professionalism and courtesy.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and janitorial practices is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of hospitality standards and the importance of maintaining a clean environment for guests.
• Experience in housekeeping management is beneficial for those looking to advance within the field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
