Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service through active listening and helpful advice
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Conduct product tastings to showcase brands, encouraging customer engagement and sales
- Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays and stocking shelves to maximize visual appeal
- Handle cashing out customers with proper cash handling procedures while maintaining accurate cash register balances
- Perform stocking duties to ensure shelves are replenished efficiently and inventory is well-maintained
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services that meet customer needs
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments or similar settings
- Must be 21 Years of Age
- Strong communication skills are a plus for serving customers
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with patience and professionalism
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
- Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and grocery store operations is beneficial
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly while maintaining attention to detail
