What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook Pool Cafe position at SHADY HOLLOW COUNTRY CLUB INC?
Seasonal part time cooking opportunities are available at Shady Hollow Country Club. Perfect for people who need a summer job and maybe work out to a full time position.
Position reports to – Executive Chef, Ex. Sous Chef, and Sous chef, Pool Café Supervisor
Principle Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations
- Clock in and out in uniform, ready to work at all times while ONthe clock
- Cook food to recipe or chef’s requirements, with the upmost quality of product, temperature, doneness, and plate presentation.
- Cook food in a timely manner: Lunch 512 minutes
- Set up your coolers and freezer with food prep, utensils, towels, and any other items needed for your station
- Prep food items according to the prep list, and assignments
- Clean your station as you work, keep a clean and organized station.
- Work on general cleaning projects as directed by the Executive, Sous chefs, or Supervisor.
- Keep up on product getting low.
- You will be required to wash dishes in the triple sink at the pool café, some things my need to be run through the dishwasher in the main kitchen.
- Work in a friendly and positive manner always.
- Tell someone if you need to leave the pool café, no wondering around in member spaces.
- You will be expected to do other things when asked outside of your normal realm of work.
- Enjoy your time at Shady Hollow and learn as much as possible.
