  • Wednesday Night Youth Services
  • Sunday Morning Youth Sunday School, participation in a regular Sunday morning teaching rotation
  • Sunday Evening Bible Study/Events on a quarterly basis

  • Ensure all teaching is biblically sound, Christ-centered, and relevant to students’ lives.

2. Individual Discipleship & School Presence

  • Proactively seek out and cultivate opportunities for individual and small group discipleship, including providing periodic or monthly small groups (such as on Wednesday nights) to foster deeper spiritual growth and accountability among students.
  • Regularly maintain a visible and relational presence in the community and local schools. This may include:
  • Meeting students for lunch (as permitted)
  • Attending sporting events, school functions, and extracurricular activities
  • Engaging students in their everyday environments
  • Encourage and support student participation in faith-based community organizations, including Fellowship of Christian Athletes and similar opportunities.

  • Organize and lead at least one Disciple Now (D-Now) or similar weekend event annually.

4. Family Collaboration & Leadership Development

  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with students and their families through consistent communication and active partnership with parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate closely with church staff—including the Senior Pastor, Worship Pastor, and Children’s Director—to ensure alignment, continuity, and unity across ministries.
  • Coordinate ministry calendars, shared events, and cross-ministry support while maintaining clear organization and communication systems (including event registration, shared platforms, and consistent messaging) so students and families can easily stay informed and plan to participate.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee a Youth Committee/Volunteer Team to support Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings, and special events, including planning, organizing, and ministry coordination (budget awareness and event logistics), while equipping volunteers to disciple students effectively and serve as strong Christian role models.

5. Outreach & Communications
