What are the responsibilities and job description for the Job Developer position at SHADOWFAX CORPORATION?
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week assisting individuals with disabilities in their job search; includes occasional evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holiday hours as needed.
- $20.00 per hour
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates highly preferred.
- Experience in vocational services, job development, or disability support preferred.
- Responsible for ensuring positive employment outcomes for individuals by providing career guidance, job preparation training and skill development, job search/coaching services, and other employment services to support individuals in finding and maintaining employment.
- Develop relationships with local employers and community organizations to create job opportunities for individuals.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, employers, and support teams.
- High school diploma/GED and 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in an employment setting is preferred
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Disability Services, Social Services, Business, Education or other related field
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of good driving experience with your license, and must meet our driver eligibility criteria
- CESP certification or ACRE Basic Employment Certificate within 18 months of hire is required
- Basic computer skills required
