Chicken Barn Construction Crew Member
Local & Traveling Positions Available — Union City, Tennessee
We are a rapidly growing construction company specializing in the construction of commercial chicken barns and agricultural facilities. As our company continues to expand throughout the Midwest, we are looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to join our team and grow with us.
We currently have both local and traveling positions available. Applicants in the Union City, Tennessee area have the option to work locally without regular out-of-town travel, while traveling positions are available for employees who are interested in working on projects throughout the Midwest.
Position Overview
As a Chicken Barn Construction Crew Member, you will work as part of a team building and completing large-scale agricultural structures. This is a hands-on position that requires physical work, attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Previous construction or carpentry experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right individuals who have a strong work ethic and are eager to develop valuable construction skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the construction of commercial chicken barns and agricultural buildings
- Perform basic carpentry and general construction tasks
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment
- Work as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow company safety procedures
- Travel to project locations when working in a traveling position
Qualifications
- Basic construction, carpentry, or general labor experience preferred
- No experience? We are willing to train the right person.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexibility with work hours and schedules
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Experience driving a truck and trailer is a plus

We have positions available for employees who want to remain local to the Union City area. These employees have the option to work locally without being required to regularly travel out of town for extended projects.
Traveling Positions
For employees who are interested in traveling, we also have positions working on projects throughout the Midwest. Traveling crew members should expect to be sent out of town frequently and should be comfortable with changing job locations and schedules.
