Dishwasher / Prep Cook / MC

Shadow Mountain Memory Care, located in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Dishwasher/Prep Cook to support our dining team and help provide an extraordinary dining experience for the residents in our community.

Responsibilities Of The Dishwasher / Prep Cook

• Support the back‑of‑house dining team with daily kitchen operations.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with basic food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and meal setup.
• Help maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Follow menu guidelines and assist the Cook with meal preparation as needed.
• Assist with special events and activities when requested.
• Adhere to proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure residents are treated with privacy, respect, and dignity.
• Follow standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Complete state‑required training upon hire and annually.
  
  

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language.
• Prior cooking or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills are helpful.
