What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Assistant/CNA Training position at Shadescrest Healthcare Center?

If so, here is your opportunity. Come work with us at Shadescrest Health and Rehab located in Jasper, Alabama. The following steps listed below are how you will become a CNA and start your nursing career!!!
- Work on the floor as a resident assistant for a period of 2 to 4 weeks.
- Your attendance, timeliness, work ethic are all taken into consideration upon moving forward to the CNA classes.
- Once you are chosen to progress into the CNA classes, you will attend class at our facility for 13 days.
- Complete the written and skills check offs.
- Take the state exam to become certified.
- Once you are certified, we guarantee a spot for you to be a CNA here at Shadescrest!

Applicant must be:
- 18 years old or older
- Must have a high school diploma/GED
- Must have a dependable way to work
- Must have dependable child care (if applicable)
- Must be able to pass urine analysis drug screen
- Must be able to pass background check (never been charged/convicted of a crime).
