Job Summary

The General Laborer plays a vital role in getting our Florence facility up and running. Under the direction of the Factory Manager, General Laborers will perform construction tasks, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and support various operational needs during the factory’s startup phase. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment and contribute to a key community enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in construction activities, including assembling temporary structures, installing equipment, and preparing work areas for production.
• Perform cleanup duties, such as removing debris, sweeping floors, and organizing materials to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
• Support equipment setup and basic maintenance tasks as directed by the Factory Manager.
• Handle material transport, including loading and unloading supplies using hand tools or forklifts (training provided).
• Follow OSHA-compliant safety protocols and participate in regular safety briefings to ensure a safe work environment.
Complete additional tasks as assigned to support factory startup and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided for motivated candidates.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting to 50 pounds, standing for
• extended periods, and working in varying weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and practices is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Forklift certification or other related certifications (e.g., OSHA 10, construction safety) are a bonus.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Florence, Colorado.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
Availability to work full-time hours, including potential overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
