We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Packaging Specialist to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Prepare products for shipment by packaging, labeling, and documenting items according to company standards
- Operate packaging and hand tools to assemble and secure packages effectively
- Conduct quality checks to ensure packaging meets CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records of shipped products and materials
- Assist in production tasks as needed to support production flow
- Follow safety protocols related to mechanical equipment, forklift operation, and warehouse procedures
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including customer regulations and CGMP guidelines
Requirements
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, especially in packaging or shipping roles
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and assembly techniques
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred or willingness to train
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols
