Duties
- Opeate, and program CNC machines such as CNC lathe and CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T specifications, and CAD models to produce precise components.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensions.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures; adjust machine parameters to optimize machining processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards by properly handling hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other manufacturing tools.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by maintaining efficient workflows and reducing waste during production cycles.

Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages and CAM software; experience with Fanuc controls preferred.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles, blueprint reading, and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machining operations including turning, milling, and tooling selection.
- Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances.
- Experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines with Fanuc controls or similar systems.
- Capable of working safely with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other manufacturing machinery.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency in production workflows.
