- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, including handling cash and credit transactions with precision
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet quality standards in a fast-paced setting
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Support food handling and storage procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely service during busy shifts, including nightclubs or fine dining environments
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
- Operate OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Assist with basic math calculations for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including roles such as host/host or busser
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Prior experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus but not required
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for supporting food prep tasks
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
