The Desktop Support L2 position is responsible for providing technical assistance to end users on various software, hardware, and network related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and be experienced in troubleshooting and configuring desktop systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance for user questions/issues on Windows 7, 8, and 10 along with Microsoft Office 2010 through Office 365, M365.
- Configure PCs and printers, and troubleshoot Windows and M365 related issues.
- Offer support to end users on incidents and problems, including password resets, account information, software issues, and connectivity problems.
- Set up equipment for employee use and image computers using various methods.
- Install and perform minor repairs to computers and peripheral equipment within the office premises.
- Utilize strong networking skills to work with IDF/MDF, switches, routers, and access points.
Required Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in software, hardware, and network support.
- Strong customer service skills, detail oriented, and deadline driven.
- Advanced desktop support experience including troubleshooting, configuration, and software installation.
- Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and computer networking.
- Experience with M365, PC and printer configuration.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems and active listening skills.
