Swim Instructor: Mobile Lessons
Summary
We are seeking qualified swim instructors to provide mobile, on-site instruction for private and small-group lessons. Instructors will travel to client locations and teach 1 to 3 students per session across a wide range of ages and skill levels. Candidates should have either competitive swimming experience or prior instructional or coaching experience. The role requires professionalism, clear communication, and consistent adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Provide structured swim instruction to individuals and small groups at residential, condominium, or community pools
- Teach students of varying ages and proficiency levels, including children, adolescents, and adults
- Assess swimmer ability and develop appropriate lesson plans and progressions
- Demonstrate proper technique and offer corrective feedback
- Maintain vigilant safety supervision and follow all risk management protocols
- Communicate student progress and session outcomes to parents or adult learners
- Arrive promptly and fully prepared for scheduled lessons
- Uphold company standards of professionalism, reliability, and customer service
- Record attendance, lesson notes, and scheduling updates as needed
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants must possess one or more of the following:
- Competitive swimming experience at the club, high school, collegiate, or masters level
- Previous experience teaching swim lessons or coaching a swim team
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong technical proficiency in all four competitive strokes
- Experience working with a broad range of student ages
- CPR and First Aid or Lifeguard certification, or willingness to obtain these

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
