Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to support Agile Scrum Teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation testing for both APIs and UI applications, experience with accessibility testing, and a solid background in C#, .NET, and SQL development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and user interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with Scrum Teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and accessibility testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools.
- Perform API testing and validation using REST/SOAP services and Postman.
- Write and execute complex T-SQL queries to validate application data and troubleshoot issues.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Ensure applications comply with ADA requirements and WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level A & AA accessibility standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, test planning, and release activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with Automation Testing frameworks for APIs and UI applications.
- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, REST/SOAP APIs, and web technologies.
- 3 years of experience with C# and .NET technologies, including LINQ, Generics, and .NET 6.
- 3 years of experience writing complex T-SQL queries and performing database validation.
- 3 years of QA experience with a focus on accessibility testing.
- Strong knowledge of ADA compliance and WCAG 2.1/2.2 (Level A & AA) standards.
- Experience using Postman for manual API testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with modern test automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional development teams.
