Job Description: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Duration: Long-term contract

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL.
• Create and maintain PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, and triggers.
• Support and maintain Oracle database objects, schemas, and ensure optimal performance.
• Configure and manage Oracle Fusion Middleware components (WebLogic, OHS).
• Provide technical support for application issues, enhancements, and integrations.
• Participate in integration efforts with Florida PALM and FLAIR financial systems.
• Perform end-to-end ETL operations—extract, transform, and load data across internal and external systems.
• Ensure accurate data extraction, transformation per business rules, and loading into target environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data mapping, transformation rules, and validation logic.
• Implement data quality checks, error-handling, and support scheduled/on-demand ETL processes.
• Coach, mentor, and train team members (OATS) and FDACS staff.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and provide weekly status reports.
• Attend project meetings, communicate progress, and submit weekly timesheets.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 years hands-on experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL application development.
• Strong experience in Oracle Database development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server).
• Experience integrating applications with Florida PALM, FLAIR, or similar enterprise financial systems.
• Knowledge of State of Florida accounting practices from a technical perspective.
• Proven experience ensuring PCI compliance in application development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
