Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network & Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise network and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, VOIP systems, and cloud networking, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable network solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to plan, forecast, and identify resource requirements for network systems, including wireless networks.
• Design, develop, and implement network architecture and engineering solutions.
• Integrate communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission, and signaling protocols into complete network configurations.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain network systems, including Cisco, Palo Alto, and VOIP solutions.
• Implement cloud networking configurations and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems for peak performance.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, best practices, and interface applications for network operations.
• Maintain accurate network schematics, documentation, and change logs.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security protocols, and industry standards.
• Manage and maintain cloud networking environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), ensuring secure and efficient access.
• Implement and manage VOIP systems for seamless voice communication.
• Stay current with emerging networking and cloud technologies and certifications.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN equipment, Windows OS, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, VPN, and routing protocols.
• Experience with network troubleshooting, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and integration with on-premise systems.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and process documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, and customers.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco Meraki appliances and dashboards.
