Position Title: Admin1-Mailroom
Job Description/Additional Details:
- Process the incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintains updated knowledge of project and corporate policies and procedures as referenced in the employee manual and other desk procedures for the position.
- Receives sort and opens mail.
- Preps mail, such as applications, returned mail and verification documents for scanning.
- Prints documents such as appeals, MI, Immigration for out bound mailing and prep and scan.
- Creates batches to prepare for transition to document scanning. Including using appropriate separator sheets. Images documents using scanners.
- Stores documents after scanning in controlled secure storage room.
- Operate mailroom equipment including letter opener, sorter, shredder, postage meter, imaging/scanning equipment, etc.
- Ensure mailroom and scanning equipment is maintained according to schedule and in good operating order and notifies the Operations Manager of any equipment problems or failures immediately upon identification.
- High school diploma or GED required, and 0-2 years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires lifting greater than 25lbs in certain cases.
Position Type: Full Time (40 hours/week) plus OT as needed.
Duration: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour
Work Location: On-site at 1011 Boulder Springs Dr, 4th Floor, North Chesterfield, VA 23225.

Training:
100% attendance is expected. There should be no time off requests or requests to leave early or arrive late during the training period. The expectation is that a supplier will not present a candidate with a prescheduled appointment during the training period. Missed time during the training period may result in termination.
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00pm EST
