Job Title: Designer/Modeler

Assignment Length: 01 year (Possible Extension)
Position Type: Contract/ Contingent
Pay Rate: Hourly on w2 All Inclusive on SGS Payroll (Doesn’t Include PTO/Holiday Pay)
1st shift ONSITE role only
Metatarsal safety boots are required on their first day
Are you a hands-on designer who thrives at the intersection of engineering and manufacturing? Do you enjoy seeing your designs go from concept to chips, welds, and finished tools?
We’re looking for a Tool Designer who takes pride in practical, well-executed designs and strong shop collaboration.
Required
- Knowledge of Creo modeling and drafting
- Knowledge of PDM/Windchill
- Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to collaborate with engineers to create models and drawings
- Ability to calculate basic tolerance stack ups
Nice to have
- Understanding of the dimensioning and tolerancing standard ASME Y14.5
- Able to follow modeling best practices
- Attention to detail
- Ability to annotate a model in Creo
Salary : $34 - $36
