DEPARTMENT: PCC - CANCER CENTER ADMINISTRATION
SCHEDULE: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift, 0800-1630
POSITION SUMMARY Contributes to the delivery of quality patient care by providing nutrition services (including assessment, modified diet formulation, and nutrition counseling/consultation) for all age groups cared for at SGMC Health and Hospice House. Assists in growth and development of staff and other allied health professionals; assists in management of cost effectiveness of department as evidenced through efficient use of materials and human resources. Maintains an atmosphere which insures SGMC Health’s values, goals, policies and procedures are consistently supported and enforced. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Four year college degree in Dietetics or related field of study - Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) approved program. Currently registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly the American Dietetic Association), as a Registered Dietitian. Currently licensed by the State of Georgia as a Licensed Dietitian. Must obtain Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) within three years of employment at PCCC. Skillful in verbal and non-verbal communication.
