What are the responsibilities and job description for the Demand Analyst, Supply Chain position at SGL Group?
Your Opportunity:
Operational responsibility for the monthly and quarterly sales planning routine at the interface between production and sales for the EIS business line.
Development and operational execution of analyses to improve forecasting of sales planning and thus input for production planning.
Coordination of the monthly/quarterly forecasting process including challenging the forecasts subnitted and achieving consensus with sales.
Responsibility for creating and maintaining demand plans in SAP.
Newly created position with freedom for conceptual development of this role and the planning process.
Drive continuous improvements in sales planning.
Project management and implementation of Integrated Business Planning for the EIS business line.
Your Profile:
Successful completion of a degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering or a related field with preferably several years of professional experience in interface functions.
Experience in forecasting, Sales and Operations Planning and/or Integrated Business Planning.
Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of statistics.
Desire to work with data and developing concepts.
Desire to work on an international global team.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office - especially Excel and basic knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse.
Strong organization skills and ability to work independently.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
