Logistics Coordinator
Reports directly to the Operations Manager. LC’s are the liaison between the drivers and customers. Work with drivers via phone and text. Responsible for making sure drivers understand and meet customer expectations. Monitor drivers to ensure proper execution of the requirements. Aid drivers in need of assistance. Work with clients to ensure expectations are met.
Core Responsibilities
- Dispatch orders to drivers.
- Effectively communicate pickup and delivery information to drivers.
- Monitor drivers to ensure successful pickup and delivery.
- Aid drivers in need of assistance to ensure successful pickup and delivery.
- Trouble shoot pickup and delivery errors and work closely with Operations Manager to reduce repeat errors.
- Work directly with customers and enter new service request.
- Work directly with customers and modify recurring service request as needed.
- Communicate changes, issues, and update to customers to ensure they have a positive experience.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing and availability.
- Work with internal departments to meet customer’s needs.
- Data entry in various platforms.

Education Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree is desired, but not required for this position.
Location: Birmingham, AL
Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
LC’s are on-call one weekend per month. On-call weekend is worked from home. LC’s are off the Monday following their on-call weekend.
