Whether collaborating with more than 200 highly respected physicians nationwide or partnering with colleagues who are passionate about solving meaningful problems, you’ll be surrounded by a team committed to shared success.In this role, the ASC Registered Nurse will:Deliver high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care in the operating room settingAssist in pre-operative assessments and verifying surgical consentsPerforms pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative patient care duties for surgical procedures including egg retrievals, hysteroscopies, embryo transfersMonitor patients intraoperatively and responding to patient status changes or emergenciesCollaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical support teamsPerform accurate instrument and supply counts in compliance with safety standardsMaintain sterile field and ensuring adherence to infection control protocolsDocument patient care in the EMR system in real-time with attention to accuracy and detailProvide post-operative education and discharge instructions to patients and their partnersParticipate in patient safety, quality improvement initiatives, and ASC accreditation complianceSupport a collaborative and emotionally supportive environment for patients and staffMaintain inventory of OR supplies and recommending cost-effective ordering strategiesParticipate in training, development, and education for new nursing staff or surgical supportWhat You’ll BringWe’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.Qualifications and Skills Include:Current RN license in the state of California1 year of recent experience in an operating room, PACU, or ambulatory surgery center setting, preferredCurrent AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start)Strong understanding of perioperative nursing principles, sterile technique, and patient safety protocolsExcellent critical thinking, assessment, and communication skillsComfort working in a fast-paced and high-acuity surgical environmentExperience using electronic health records (EHR) systemsAbility to multitask and remain calm under pressureProfessionalism, flexibility, and a collaborative spiritMore important than any single credential, however, is the right person.
