Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Houston, Texas, USA (Hybrid: Mon & Tues, Office. Wed - Fri: WFH)

Employment Type: Permanent

Pay Rate: 100000.00 - 115000.00 USD/Year

Travel every other month for 2 weeks (2nd and 3rd weeks) to Paris, France.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join a global technology company in the energy innovation sector. In this role, you will contribute to evaluating financial and operational processes, ensuring compliance, identifying risks, and recommending improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and eventually lead various audit engagements for the the client´s businesses worldwide.
• Examine the company's financial records, accounting practices, and business operations to identify potential risks and inefficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Analyze risk management processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote transparency and accountability.
• Participate in special projects, due diligence reviews, post-acquisition reviews, and investigations, as required.
• Attend seminars and training courses; stay current on job-related technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 4-8 years of experience in an external audit firm. Big4 experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 2 weeks at a time & around 6 trips a year.

Preferred Qualification:

• Masters or certifications (CPA/CIA/ACCA) preferred.
• A mix of IT & Finance Auditor experience is acceptable.
