Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Pay Rate: $19.47/hour
Employment Type: 9-Month Contract | Hybrid
Hybrid Schedule:
In-office Tuesday–Thursday; remote work Monday & Friday
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Care Specialist to join our client's team within the manufacturing industry. This role supports multiple customer contact channels, ensures high levels of customer satisfaction, and assists with post-order issue resolution while collaborating closely with sales and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and support Amerock’s customer channels and omnichannel strategy
- Deliver exceptional customer service through high-quality calls and effective problem-solving
- Manage customer accounts, order processing, and report preparation
- Support sales and supply chain teams with order-related activities
- Assist customers with post-order issues, including returns, replacements, and delivery status inquiries
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience with SAP SD and EDI is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the consumer products industry
- Background in process improvement and root-cause analysis
