Security Systems Administrator

About the Role
SGF Global is looking for an experienced Security Systems Administrator to support our client's physical security technology operations in Nashville, TN.
This position will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic security systems, including access control, video management, security analytics, and network-connected security devices. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supporting physical security technology in a corporate, industrial, or regulated environment and is comfortable troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Honeywell Pro-Watch and MAXPRO security systems.
- Support Volt AI video analytics and related security technology.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot access control and video management systems (VMS).
- Troubleshoot issues involving security software, hardware, databases, endpoints, and network-connected devices.
- Maintain accurate system configuration, maintenance, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate system repairs, upgrades, maintenance activities, and technology enhancements.
- Support credential management and physical access control processes.
- Work with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain reliable security operations.
- Assist with security audits, inspections, product integrity activities, and incident reviews.
- Track technical issues and service requests through established ticket-management processes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Security Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- 3 years of experience supporting electronic security systems, physical security technology, access control, video management systems, or similar technologies.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, databases, endpoints, and network-connected devices.
- Experience supporting access control systems and credential management.
- Experience working with video management systems (VMS).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with service request or ticket-management systems.
- Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Honeywell Pro-Watch.
- Experience with Honeywell MAXPRO.
- Experience with Volt AI or other video analytics platforms.
- Previous experience administering physical security systems in a manufacturing, industrial, corporate, or regulated environment.
- Knowledge of electronic security infrastructure, access control devices, cameras, and related network-connected equipment.
