What are the responsibilities and job description for the PC Deployment Technician position at SGA?
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a PC Deployment Technician for a contract assignment with one of our premier Insurance clients in Hartford, CT.
Responsibilities :
- Daily operation of the Customer-site asset handling processes, including inventory management, data erasure, packaging for returns/redeployment/disposal, and scheduling transportation services as needed.
Required Skills:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack.
- On-Site receiving functions for new equipment orders.
- Performs imaging reclaimed (re-deployable) assets (if applicable).
- System builds (software, applications, etc).
- Asset tagging (if applicable).
- Device return processing and scanning.
- Assist with Inventory management – new, re-deployable, disposal equipment.
- Data Center Inventory using customer provided tools and training.
- Hardware separation by disposition (Redeploy/Disposal).
- On-Site data erasure (data sanitization).
- Maintains the Customer-site facility in a neat, clean, organized and orderly fashion.
- Prepares Equipment for pickup/shipping.
- Passes escalations to the Program Supervisor as needed.
- Any other reasonable activities within the scope of the resources' technical abilities that is agreed upon by both Customer and supplier.
Salary : $25 - $28
