What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Supervisor, SGA Bookstore at Slippery Rock University position at SGA Bookstore?
The SGA Bookstore located on the campus of Slippery Rock University is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill a full time position as our customer service manager. Qualified applicants should have in depth retail experience with excellent merchandising, organizational and leadership skills. Applicants must also have excellent computer skills and the ability to learn and use our retail management software and point of sale system. Previous retail experience and retail supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
Duties of the customer service manager include answering phones, operating the cash registers, managing student employees within the customer service department, and greeting customers as they enter the store. The customer service manager is also responsible for buying and stocking the home and dorm merchandise, food and drink merchandise, the required art supplies for classes on campus and other duties as needed.
