Internet Researcher

SG Property Management is looking for an entry-level Baseball Card Inspector to support the online buying, selling, and trading of baseball cards, including AI Trading Cards. This individual will inspect, grade, catalog, and price incoming and outgoing cards, and will need to be comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and online marketplace platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to accurately evaluate card condition and value while maintaining clean, well-documented inventory and sales records in Excel.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming baseball cards, including AI Trading Cards, to verify authenticity, condition, and completeness
• Grade and categorize cards based on condition (e.g., corners, surface, edges, centering) using established grading standards
• Research current market values and comparable sales to determine accurate buy, sell, and trade pricing
• List, update, and manage card inventory across online marketplaces and trading platforms
• Process online purchases, sales, and trades, ensuring accurate recordkeeping of every transaction
• Maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets tracking inventory counts, cost basis, sale price, and profit/loss
• Reconcile online sales platform reports against internal inventory and financial records
• Identify pricing trends and flag high-value or rare cards, including AI Trading Cards, for specialized handling
• Package and prepare cards for safe shipping, and respond to customer inquiries professionally
• Follow the company's strict code of ethics and protect any confidential or financial information
• Communicate regularly with management on inventory status, sales performance, and pricing concerns
• Maintain a well-organized workspace and pay close attention to detail during every inspection
• Bring an energetic, positive approach to problem-solving and comfort with deadlines in a fast-moving online marketplace

• High school diploma or equivalent required; entry-level position, no prior card-grading experience necessary
• Must be good working with numbers and proficient in Excel (formulas, tracking sheets, basic reporting)
• Familiarity with baseball cards, sports memorabilia, or AI Trading Cards preferred but not required
• Comfortable buying, selling, and trading on online marketplaces and trading card platforms
• Ability to think creatively, spot pricing trends, and problem-solve independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail when inspecting card condition
• Trustworthy and comfortable handling collectible items and financial transactions with accuracy

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Substantial, repetitive movement of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers while inspecting and handling cards
• Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily tasks of an administrative nature
• Manual dexterity sufficient to handle small items and perceive fine details of cards and materials
• Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation
