Duties
- Perform comprehensive residential cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to maintain pristine environments
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
- Maintain floors through proper care techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to ensure a spotless finish
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients, understanding their specific needs, and addressing any special requests
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health standards, including kitchens and bathrooms, using appropriate cleaning products and methods
- Manage janitorial tasks such as waste disposal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal condition
- Assist with light cooking or meal prep if required, supporting household routines and dietary preferences
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while working independently or as part of a team
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning products; previous housekeeping management experience is a plus
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous but not required
