Stamping Operator

The Machine Operator in our Metal Stamping department will actively support and represent the SFS Group USA- Division Construction team by having detailed knowledge of assigned stamping equipment and operates it with highest efficiency. He/she will proactively support continuous improvement, productivity, and safety-oriented projects to further business goals

Key Responsibilities

1. Stamping press safety and general machine operation
2. Program PMC controls
3. Set up press dies and loading machines with materials
4. Inspect parts and follow SFS inspection processes for quality 
5. Support predictive and preventative maintenance process
6. Requesting work to be pulled from the warehouse.
7. Prevents and detects potential quality problems by following the QES (Quality, Environmental, Safety) standards
8. Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP)
9. Cleaning machinery, workstation, and other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate

1.  Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
2.  Ability to lift up to 45 lbs 
3. Ability to pass forklift certification test with training
4.  Ability to use measuring equipment and read blue prints 
5. Lean knowledge, strongly preferred
6.  Bilingual Spanish/ English a plus
