Bilingual ISA Certified Arborist

At SFM, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Tree Care Manager to join our team in Medley, Florida. The Tree Care Manager will oversee daily tree care operations, supervise field crews, coordinate projects, ensure safety and quality standards, and provide excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive tree care experience, and an ISA Certified Arborist certification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate tree trimming, pruning, removal, stump removal, and debris removal crews.
• Plan and schedule daily work to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Supervise crews and ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and ANSI standards.
• Conduct job-site inspections and ensure quality workmanship.
• Communicate professionally with customers and address questions or concerns.
• Train, coach, and develop employees in proper tree care practices and safety procedures.
• Monitor equipment, vehicles, tools, and materials and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Track labor hours, job costs, and project progress.
• Work closely with management to resolve operational issues and improve efficiency.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Respond to emergency tree care situations when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tree care, arboriculture, or related services.
• ISA Certified Arborist certification required.
• Strong knowledge of tree pruning, removals, stump removal, and arboricultural practices.
• Knowledge of ANSI A300 and ANSI Z133 standards.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Experience supervising tree care crews preferred.
• Knowledge of South Florida trees and palms.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• English required; Spanish preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Must be reliable, punctual, professional, and safety-conscious.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Record check.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Medley, Florida. The Tree Care Manager will spend significant time in the field supervising crews and inspecting job sites. The position requires flexibility to work extended hours when necessary, including occasional weekends, holidays, or emergency response situations.
