What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Forklift Operator position at SFI?
We are actively searching for a Forklift Operator on our NIGHT Shift near the Kenosha, WI area. Below are the responsibilities and ideal requirements we'd like to see from this individual.
Forklift Operator Pay:
- $18/hour
Forklift Operator Schedule:
- 12-hour Day shift from 6:00pm-6:00am
- 3/2/2
- 3 days on 3 days off / 2 days on 2 days off / Every other weekend you receive off.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Operating a forklift and RF hand scanner to scan pallets in and out of system (Extended fork to pick up two pallets is a plus!)
- Staging product for shipping and load/unloading trucks daily
- Utilizing all safety protocols at all time
- Keeping area clean and breaking down boxes, moving empty pallets and various other duties as needed
- Receive incoming shipments, using a forklift/clamp truck to move product onto racks.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely, labeling packages, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand for 8 or more hours.
- Ability to pass a drug and background check.
- Experience in multiple Forklifts (Sit down, Clamp, Doubles)
- Reliable transportation is a must as the location is not accessible by public transportation.
