Job Description
The 3rd Shift Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all night shift receiving operations. This includes managing team performance, ensuring accurate receipt of inbound apparel shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a background in warehouse receiving, preferably in apparel or manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities
● Lead and supervise the 3rd shift receiving team in daily operations
● Oversee unloading, counting, sorting, and staging of incoming apparel products
● Ensure all shipments are received accurately and entered into the system (WMS/ERP)
● Inspect received goods for quality and quantity compliance
● Train, coach, and evaluate receiving team members for performance and adherence to SOPs
● Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
● Maintain accurate records of received goods and report any discrepancies
● Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
● Have shift hand-offs with manager and first shift Lead.
Job Requirements
● High school diploma or GED required, associate’s degree a plus
● Minimum of 2 years of warehouse receiving experience
● At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
● Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners
● Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for the duration of the shift
● Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
● Must be able to work scheduled shift hours (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Shift and Pay
- Full time 3rd shift
- 11:00pm - 7:30am
- Monday night - Saturday morning
- $23-$24/ hour (plus $1/hour shift differential)
