SFE is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support procurement and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for sourcing products, managing purchasing activities, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of food, supplies, equipment, and services required to support business operations. This position reports to the General Manager.

SFE is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support procurement and supply chain operations. You will:
- Procure goods, materials, and services at the best possible price, quality, and delivery time
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and negotiate better prices
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Manage and track inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing stockouts and overstocking
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure purchasing aligns with business objectives and strategies
- 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Strong knowledge of purchasing principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Certification in purchasing or procurement (e.g. CIPS, CPSM)
