Responsibilities and Duties:
As a Tax Senior, you will be involved in the planning and execution of various tax services engagements and other client-related projects. Your main duties will include conducting research on state and federal tax matters, as well as preparing a wide range of state and federal tax forms. This position entails supervisory responsibilities, as you will be overseeing engagement management.
Qualifications:
• CPA or CPA Candidate: We are looking for individuals who have obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or are actively pursuing it.
• 2-4 Years of Tax Experience in Public Accounting: The ideal candidate will have a solid background in tax with 2-4 years of experience working in a public accounting setting.
• Strong Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Candidates should possess excellent analytical and quantitative abilities, allowing them to effectively analyze complex tax situations and provide accurate solutions.
• Strong Management Skills: The role requires individuals who can effectively manage and prioritize tasks, ensuring timely and efficient completion of assignments.
• Knowledge of Tax Laws: Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of tax laws related to both individuals and various types of entities, enabling them to navigate and apply relevant regulations.
• Autonomy and Teamwork: The ability to work autonomously and take initiative is important, while also being a collaborative team player who can contribute effectively within a group setting.
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential, as candidates will be responsible for conveying complex tax concepts clearly and effectively through written reports and verbal interactions.
