Would you like to get paid to help homeless dogs and cats while they await their forever homes? SFC Virginia Animal Rescue is looking for highly motivated, hard working Animal Care Technicians to join our HQ Team.

SFC Virginia is a foster-focused animal rescue group in Fredericksburg, VA. Founded in June 2019 with the goal of saving dogs and cats from rural and otherwise underserved shelters in the state, we strive to provide quality medical care including vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries, and to find permanent adoptive homes in our area. We work to make a positive contribution to the overall live release rate in Virginia and toward No-Kill Nation 2025. Pets that we rescue are placed in foster homes or in our HQ until they are adopted.

SFC HQ is a unique space that provides temporary housing for pets awaiting foster pickup or adoption and serves as a central location for new intakes, transports, exams, vaccinations, supply pickups, etc. We strive to offer a high quality of life to the pets during their stay, including frequent socialization through canine playgroups, which offer great opportunities for our dogs to receive daily exercise, enrichment, and socialization.
