We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations of our clients' businesses, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and payroll processing for multiple clients
- Preparation and filing of quarterly and annual payroll reports
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for clients
- Manage client budgets and provide recommendations to improve performance
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
- Work closely with clients to identify and resolve accounting issues and provide guidance on best practices for financial management
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping, preferably in a public accounting firm
- Strong understanding of accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
