The Senior Accountant will assist Accounting management in preparation of various financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting reports.

Essential Functions |

Prepare monthly, quarterly and year end statements and financial reports. |

• |
Perform accounting and related reporting for the Investment portfolio(s). |
|
• |
Reconcile daily cash transactions and maintain accurate records of all cash transactions in the ledger. |
|
• |
Assist in the budgeting process by providing variance analysis. |
|
• |
Participate in the testing of internal controls for compliance with NAIC Model Audit Rule standards. |
|
• |
Facilitate communication between departments and Accounting to resolve challenges crossing departmental lines. |
|
• |
Remain up to date with industry issues and developments which may have direct impact on the department or the organization as a whole. |

• |
Participate in the development and implementation of Accounting systems when and where requested. |
|

Act as Supervisor for Accounting employees when and where requested. |
