Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Analyst (Financial) to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the organization's financial health through sound accounting practices. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and audit supplier invoices to ensure they comply with company policies and contract requirements; Verify invoice details, including but not limited to price, quantities, terms, etc., to ensure accuracy before processing payments.
- Maintain and update the cost database to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with suppliers and relevant internal departments to resolve invoice-related issues.
- Participate in the month-end closing procedure, preparing and submitting operation cost accrual reports.
- Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports/metrics on cost analysis and project-based data analysis.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Hands-on experience in SQL queries; knowledge of Python is a big plus.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel are desirable.
- Sound judgment with strong attention to details.
- Good communication skills with the ability to present clearly and concisely.
- High adaptability and flexibility; able to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently.
- 1-2 relevant working experience
