QA Inspector II

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of aerospace hardware and components to verify compliance with customer requirements and quality standards.
• Review engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, and quality plans to determine inspection criteria.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, thread gages, ring gages, optical comparators, and other inspection tools.
• Verify certifications, traceability documentation, testing requirements, and product identification.
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate electronic inspection reports.
• Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming materials while partnering with Quality leadership to resolve issues.
• Ensure inspected products are accurately processed and transferred through the quality inspection process.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures, customer specifications, and aerospace industry standards.

• High School Diploma or GED (technical training or certification is a plus).
• 3 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Hands-on experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, thread gages, ring gages, optical comparators, or similar equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints; GD&T experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify product discrepancies and documentation errors.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Quality team.
• Commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
