What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Liaison position at SEWON AMERICA, INC.?
JOB PURPOSE: The responsibility of managing onsite customer quality demands and communicating customer quality requests back to Sewon America’s management. The role includes interfacing with onsite quality inspectors, the customer’s quality team, and the Sewon Quality Team as directed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Follow all instructions and direction provided by the Team Leader.
- If an instruction is considered inappropriate or unreasonable, formally raise the concern in writing to management.
- Perform incoming inspection as the primary responsibility.
- When no containment activity is required, incoming inspection shall be prioritized at all times.Do not leave the incoming inspection area without prior approval from the Team Leader.
- Upon completion of part inspection, sign the MES label to confirm inspection verification and traceability.
- Immediately report any detected nonconformities to the Team Leader, including detailed defect descriptions and supporting photographs.
- When defects occur, perform containment activities in accordance with the Team Leader’s instructions.
- Follow the specified containment method as directed and do not leave the containment area without prior approval from the Team Leader.
- For modified or revised parts, ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) is strictly followed during incoming processing.
- Prior to body line installation, verify the bin number and communicate the information to the Team Leader.
- For return pallets and/or parts, clearly document the reason for return and ensure proper shipment back to Sewon with complete and accurate information.
- Conduct incoming inspection of sample parts and, after inspection, move them to the designated NCP storage area.
- Share the relevant inspection and storage information with the Team Leader.
- Quarterly evaluations shall be conducted for Liaisons. If the average score does not meet the required standard, appropriate actions shall be implemented following a management meeting

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
· Performs other duties as necessary.
SPECIALIZED TRAINING, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Understanding of Automotive manufacturing industry
· Understanding of welding inspection standard
· Welding Experience preferred but not a must
· Ability to lift items up to 35 pounds
· Communication skills with foreigners
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Factory environment with noise from the manufacturing environment. Exposure to moving equipment, parts, and electrical shock. Possible serious injury due to carelessness around equipment.
· Daily lifting, carrying, or moving objects up to 35 pounds.
