We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Seamstress/Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to work on outdoor gear. You will be responsible for repairing and restoring high-quality garments and textile products using industrial sewing machines. Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to repair, and finish garments or textile products efficiently and accurately
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring all items meet quality control guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity on the manufacturing floor
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
- Troubleshoot common sewing machine issues and perform basic maintenance to minimize downtime
- Assist with inventory management by tracking materials used and reporting shortages or discrepancies
Experience
- Proven experience in garment construction or industrial sewing machine operation preferred
- Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, and fabric handling
- Familiarity with various types of sewing machines used in manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely and maintain attention to detail throughout production processes
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity essential for precise stitching and assembly
