About Sevo: Sevo is an online marketplace platform combining social media engagement with on-demand delivery for domestic services (home-chefs, etc.). Think Instagram meets DoorDash - where users can book services, market their skills, and deliver locally.
Role Overview:
We’re hiring a Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategist to curate and execute Sevo’s launch frameworks across markets, user segments, and product lines. You will transform early-stage hypotheses into operational playbooks, design rollout strategies, define experimentation cadences, and collaborate directly with Sevo’s founders, marketing, and social media teams to shape strategic priorities. This is a high-ownership, strategy-heavy role that requires clear communication, strong stakeholder management, and comfort presenting to leadership and investors.
Primary Responsibilities:
GTM frameworking:
- Design scalable launch playbooks (messaging, pricing, distribution)
- Define success metrics, KPIs, and experimentation cycles
- Identify pivotal moments in the acquisition funnel and recommend improvements
Cross-Functional Execution:
- Collaborate with founders, marketing, and outreach teams
- Translate insights from customer research into actionable roadmaps
- Ensure strategy is understood across teams through clear documentation
Stakeholder Communication & Leadership:
- Present strategies to founders and to potential investors
- Align and coordinate with internal teams above and below management layers
- Maintain high transparency through weekly GTM dashboards and memos
Required Skills:
- Market strategy design (pricing, segmentation, positioning)
- Strong analytical & financial reasoning (growth modeling, TAM/SAM/SOM)
- Excellent communication & public speaking
- Strong presentation-building capability (pitch decks, investor materials)
- Familiarity with early-stage startup GTM motions
Soft Skills (HIGHLY Important):
- Exceptional communication with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Confidence in public speaking and representing Sevo in external meetings
- Ability to be brought into investor discussions when necessary
- Ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative leadership style; works closely with founders daily
Ideal Candidate:
- Obtained or pursuing a degree in a relevant field from an accredited college (i.e. Marketing, Data Analytics, Economics, etc)
- Strategic thinker with strong operational instincts
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in unstructured environments
- Can balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution
- Clear communicator who simplifies complexity
- Motivated by impact and ownership
Compensation:
- Sevo is an AI startup with an eight-figure valuation. Performance will be monitored, and compensation will be provided if expectations are met as performance-based equity. Compensation will be negotiated after completion of future successful fundraising rounds and when necessary metrics are satisfied.
