Key Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, massage, mobilization, and gait training.
- Assist patients in improving functional activities and teach them to use mobility aids like canes, crutches, and walkers.
- Measure and document patient progress (ROM, vital signs, MMT) to support the treatment plan.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to modify and coordinate patient care and treatment.
- Ensure adherence to professional standards, ethics, and confidentiality.
- Maintain and assess PT equipment for proper function and safety.
- Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited college
- One year of experience in human services or a related field.
- Must have a current PTA license in Texas.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy modalities, equipment, and therapeutic exercises.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and caring with strong multitasking abilities.
